What a wonderful place for young children to learn! by Lynda W
Before moving them to The Wonder Years, I had my toddler and preschooler in a home-based daycare setting, where their days were spent watching cartoons or playing outdoors. As my children became more mobile, talkative, and inquisitive, I knew they needed an environment which would honor their curiosity and develop their understanding of the world around them. I'm so fortunate that I found The Wonder Years; the teachers there follow a philosophy called Reggio, which uses children's natural interests and curiosity as a vehicle for their learning and development. There is lots of play, but also lots of learning as they play. My children's days are not filled with cartoons, but books, poems, paintings, and experiments! If you are a parent who wants your young child to play, but also to question, explore, and learn, this is a wonderful preschool!
